Jahrom Auto Accessories is the data controller for any personal information collected through this website and any communications initiated through it.

2. What We Collect and How

This website does not deploy analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking cookies. The only data we may hold about you comes from direct contact you initiate with us:

• WhatsApp enquiries — when you message us via the WhatsApp links on this site, your name, phone number, and any details you share (truck model, service interest) are received directly by our team via WhatsApp.
• Phone calls — if you call us, your phone number is visible to our staff.

We do not run contact forms that submit data to a server. We do not collect your IP address, browsing behaviour, or device fingerprint.

3. Local Storage (Preferences Only)

This site saves two preference values in your browser's local storage:

• Language preference (juhrum-lang) — remembers whether you chose English, Arabic, or Urdu.
• Theme preference (juhrum-theme) — remembers whether you chose dark or light mode.

These values never leave your device. They are not transmitted to our servers, not shared with third parties, and contain no personal data. They are strictly functional preferences, equivalent to your browser remembering a setting.

4. Third-Party Scripts

To deliver the visual experience on this site, we load scripts from the following content delivery networks. These are technical assets (animation libraries, 3D rendering) — they do not track you and do not set cookies:

• cdnjs.cloudflare.com — Three.js, GSAP (Cloudflare, USA)
• unpkg.com — Lenis smooth scroll, Spline runtime (Cloudflare, USA)
• Google Maps — address links only; we embed a link, not an iframe. No map tracking occurs unless you click through to Google Maps directly.

These CDN requests originate from your browser and are subject to the respective providers' privacy policies. By using this site you acknowledge that these technical requests occur to servers outside the UAE. No personal data is transmitted in these requests — only your IP address as part of standard HTTP connection behaviour.

5. How We Use Your Information

Information you share when contacting us via WhatsApp or phone is used solely to:

• Respond to your enquiry about our products or services
• Provide a quote for your truck build or accessory fitting
• Arrange an appointment at our Sharjah workshop

We do not use your contact details for unsolicited marketing. We will not contact you about services you did not enquire about.

6. International Data Transfers

When you load this website, your browser makes requests to CDN servers located in the United States (Cloudflare, Google infrastructure, unpkg). This constitutes an incidental cross-border data transfer of your IP address under UAE PDPL. No personal data beyond IP address is involved in these technical requests. If you have concerns about this, you may access the site with appropriate browser privacy settings or a VPN.

7. Your Rights Under UAE PDPL

Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree Law No. 45 of 2021) and its executive regulations, you have the right to:

• Know what personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent (where consent is the legal basis)
• Lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office (UAEDO)

8. Data Retention

WhatsApp conversation history is retained within the WhatsApp platform under WhatsApp's own data policies. We do not export or store WhatsApp conversations in separate systems. If you request deletion of your enquiry history, we will delete any stored records on our end; WhatsApp message history must be deleted by both parties within the app.

9. Data Security and Breach Notification

We take reasonable steps to protect any information you share with us. In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in harm to you, we will notify the UAE Data Office (UAEDO) promptly and will notify you directly if the breach materially affects your personal data. 10. Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has contacted us, please notify us and we will delete the relevant records.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when our practices change or when required by law. The version number and effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent update. Continued use of the site after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
